Two years Master of Arts in Teaching focused on Communicative Language Teaching and Task-based Learning consisting of 90 ECTS. I successfully completed a full month internship at International House, Madrid, where I had the opportunity to give several group lessons under expert supervision. The program was conducted in both Japanese and English and consisted of 60 ECTS.

Four years Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies —Japanese specialization— consisting of 240 ECTS. An interdisciplinary approach was taken thus besides the study of the Japanese language and literature, other humanistic and social disciplines were trained such as history, philosophy, arts, religion, anthropology, economics, politic sciences and geography.

Freelancer and VolunteerSpanish Tutor
Back in Spain, right after working as a Spanish as a Foreign Language assistant teacher in Japan, I started training people on Spanish language ocassionaly. First student was my partner and then friends and adquantances followed as I volunteered to adquire more experience. Eventually, I decided to offer priced Spanish lessons mostly online and enrolled in a MA in order to become a profesional teacher. To date, I have tought Spanish to more than 30 students, many of them with no cost due to ethical reasons.

Admon. Gral. del Estado de EspañaSpecialized Citizen Service Agent
Worked 40h/week for the Spanish National Citizen Information Line, which is a multilingual paid telephone service that aims to inform and advice citizens about a myriad of different topics. Most of the inquiries I worked with were registered by migrants and asile seekers that required information regarding the Spanish immigration regulation (Reglamento de Extranjería).

Hackney Spanish, LondonOnline Spanish Tutor
Worked 20h/week as a remote teacher mostly on individual lessons although I've also worked with small groups of three and four. All the students were English native speakers however their skills and sociocultural backgrounds were diverse so lessons had to be tailored to suit their needs. I applied a communicate approach so learner's talk time remains as much productive as posible and made sure student's most common and expected mistakes —which as a bilingual Spanish English speaker I'm familiar with— get swiftly sorted out so there's no chance for fossilization to happen.

During my MA program I had a 4 weeks internship at International House, one of the most prestigious language schools in Madrid, where I gave Spanish group lessons under professional guidance. First three weeks I worked as an assistant teacher and a final week was conducted on my own.
