Description
This investigation seeked to contribute to the research field by exploring how the social network Tumblr could improve writing skills of learners of Spanish as a second language, as well as by studying their attitudes towards it's educational usage.
Based on a qualitative research method in the form of an action research, Tumblr posts systematically written by three participants were provided with a corrective feedback. After the course of one month, they were gathered and analyzed.
Finally, participants were interviewed regarding their attitudes. The study indicated that Tumblr was an effective tool for improvement of the writing skills together with the fact that participants' attitudes towards its usage were positive.
